The course provides comprehensive, hands-on training on developing powerful MS-Excel spreadsheets and VB Macros for the analysis, design, and BOQ calculation of reinforced concrete structures.
The Course contents are:
  • Excel & Macro Fundamentals: Introduction to basic and advanced Excel commands, alongside a foundational understanding of working with VB Macros.
  • RCC Design Spreadsheets: Development of automated spreadsheets for the design of beams (flexure, shear, torsion), columns (as per SP16), slabs, and crack width control.
  • Foundation & Retaining Walls: Creating dedicated spreadsheets for the comprehensive analysis and design of isolated foundations and retaining walls.
  • Estimation & BOQ: Development of accurate templates for Bill of Quantity (BOQ) calculations and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for beams, columns, slabs, and foundations.
